  • Feb 8, “African American Family & Community History Fair”, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 199 North Place – Frederick, MD. 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

  • Feb 12, Showing of “Tale of the Lion Documentary”, Frederick 50+ Community Center, 1440 Taney, Frederick, MD. Doors open 11:30 a.m.; Luncheon @ noon; Movie @ 12:30 pm. Discussion afterwards.

  • Feb 22, Black History presentation, “The Journey: The Beginning, the Middle and How it Never Ends”. Presented by Patricia Geddes Washington (local author and educator). Trinity UMC, 4:00 p.m.
