AARCH teaches various aspects of African American history by way of presentations in classrooms for students throughout Frederick County, including the Frederick Classical Charter School in Frederick and the Lucy School in Middletown. AARCH shares the reality of life for African Americans in Frederick County against the backdrop of national events, in a way that brings local history to life.

Presentations can be tailored for individual classes, according to the age of the students and the context and goals of particular lesson plans.
