Members of AARCH visit classrooms in schools throughout Frederick County to teach various aspects of African American history. History comes alive as we present the reality of life for African Americans in Frederick County against the backdrop of national events.

AARCH tailors presentations for individual classes, according to students’ ages and the context and goals of particular lesson plans. In recent months, AARCH members have visited the Frederick Classical Charter School (in Frederick) and the Lucy School (in Middletown).
