Juneteenth at the Catoctin Furnace

Join us on Thursday, June 19th, as we come together at the Catoctin Furnace to commemorate the 160th anniversary of Juneteenth. Events will begin at 3 p.m. and includes a hike exploring the history of slavery in the area, a procession to the African American cemetery overlook, an unveiling of an immersive 3D virtual reality of the enslaved quarters, and more.
