The 2026 Living Treasures Video Collection

The AARCH Society of Frederick extends our heartfelt gratitude to the Living Treasures, their families, and our community for making the 2026 Living Treasures Banquet such a meaningful time of reflection, celebration, and connection.
These videos were created to honor the lives, voices, and experiences of individuals whose stories continue to shape our community and preserve the rich history of African Americans in Frederick County. Each tribute shared is a reminder that history is not only found in books and archives, but also in the lives of those who lived it.
We are deeply thankful to every Living Treasure and family member who entrusted us with these stories so they may continue to inspire future generations.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, partners, Francis Food Company, and all who attended this year’s banquet. Your continued support helps ensure these histories are remembered, preserved, and shared.
