AARCH Society will present a Black History Month exhibit “Our Journey Our Stories Told Through the Arts” at the C. Burr Artz Public Library for the month of February 2024.
It will provide glimpses of the planned Heritage Center core exhibit “Our Journey, Our Stories” while featuring Frederick County connected African Americans involved in the arts and will draw from our collection.
It aligns with the ASALH (Association for the Study of African American Life and History) annual Black History Theme of 2024 “African Americans and the Arts” that recognizes the visual and performing arts, literature, folklore and diverse forms of cultural expression.
