Collection

Helps grow and manage the AARCH Society collections by assisting in the implementation of policies and procedures for inventorying, cataloging, digitizing, preserving, conserving, managing, and making the collection of objects and archival materials publicly accessible

Communications

Helps communicate AARCH society programs and goals to our stakeholders. Create content (print/video/image) for or help update website, newsletters, social media platforms, and raise stakeholder and media awareness. Professional background/knowledge desired.

Education

Plans and develops programs, presentations, and events that educate, enrich, and engage educators, students, schools, and the community. Expertise specific to school-based programs, curriculum development, pre-and post-visit materials, and educator training desired.

Program

Assists the Society in completing a 5-year Program Plan; identifying resources and funding sources, and developing and implementing the Society’s programs and services including Heritage Center planning; Cemetery Clean up and Preservation; Community History Fairs; Walking Tours; and Living Treasures Recognition and Oral History.
